Long, blonde locks frame this oval-shaped face. Gabrielle’s blonde hair is naturally wavy and falls to the middle of her back. The almost-sixteen year old spends a lot of time on her hair, as she does not like its wavy quality. She generally keeps it down, and straightened. When running late, or just too lazy to spend the time straightening her hair, Gabrielle will usually throw it up into a pony-tail or pigtails (which, she maintains, have made her look adorable no matter how old she is). Her face, though usually always blemish-free, is always covered in a small amount of natural makeup. From a young age, Gabrielle’s mother taught her that it was important to always look your best, no matter the scenario. Much to her mother’s chagrin, Gabrielle does tend to go a bit heavy on the eyeliner and mascara, and can usually be seen with a small amount of black eyeshadow around her eyes. Others have complimented Gabrielle on this, saying the darker makeup makes her already piercing blue eyes stand out even more.

Growing up, Gabrielle had quite a bit more baby fat than her sister. Thankfully, by the time she reached school, she’d slimmed down quite a bit. Because of this, Gabrielle has always had to be just that little bit more careful when it comes to her eating and exercise. Occasionally, Gabrielle can be seen going for a jog around the school grounds with her boyfriend, Kyle Chapman. Being an average height, Gabrielle’s legs aren’t that long, but they are well defined, and the youngest Amorcya twin can always be seen in a pair of heels to make herself look taller.

Gabrielle believes that her nose is slightly off centre. Her right eye seems to squint constantly, and her left eyebrow seems to sit that little big higher than the other. She also has a small scar on her forehead from a time when she and her sister constructed a rope bridge between their balconies when they were 9 years old. Gabrielle fell over the side of her balcony, and though magic slowed her fall, she still fell in a way that cut her forehead, just above her right eyebrow. The cut is barely noticeable, though it does turn a few shades whiter when it’s cold, however Gabrielle mostly covers it with makeup.

Being one of the Amorcya twins means being in the spotlight. Being in the spotlight means Gabrielle is required to be up to date with the latest fashions. Gabrielle enjoys having money spent on her, especially when it’s for clothes or shoes. The youngest twin can usually be seen in the latest designer jeans, skirts, dresses, shirts, etc. She also has the biggest shoe collection out of everyone in the school. Gabrielle loves shoes. So much so, that if Michelle has a pair that Gabrielle likes, Gabrielle will ask to borrow them and Michelle usually never sees them again.

Despite what people think of Gabrielle (that she is a power hungry, money loving snob), the sixteen year old’s greatest desire is to finish school, and live her life out of the spotlight. She wants to get married and start a family. But, she is only 16, so that is more than likely going to change by the time she finishes school.

In this day and age, most people would say that their worst fear is Voldemort finding the school. While Gabrielle is terrified that this will happen, it is not her worst fear. Her worst fear is losing the one person who has been there for her throughout her whole life. Her sister, her best friend, her reason to live. If Gabrielle was to lose Michelle, there would be no point in her inhabiting this world anymore.

favourite memory(s);

This is the part where Gabrielle is supposed to tell people about the time her family spent the whole day together, making it the happiest day of her life. Unfortunately, Gabrielle cannot remember a time when her parents weren’t both too busy to spend time with their daughters. Michelle insists that they spent New Year’s Eve of 2000 together, but Gabrielle doesn’t remember this. Instead, Gabrielle’s favourite memory is one of her and Michelle. They were 9, and while their parents were away, they decided that their rooms needed to be even more connected than they already were with the joint bathroom they shared. So they decided to construct a rope bridge between their balconies. Being only 9 and unable to use magic to construct it, the two girls had to do it the old muggle way. It was the most fun Gabrielle had had in a long time. Unfortunately, that same day, Gabrielle fell over the side of her balcony while trying to tie the rope. Though her fall was slowed by magic, she still fell in a way that ended up with her having a cut above her right eyebrow.

Being of magical blood, Gabrielle knew that eventually she would show some signs of power. This happened on two occasions. The first had been when she was 7. Gabrielle had been playing with her neighbours dog when suddeny the dog had turned bright pink. Gabrielle had been a little more than excited, as her favourite colour was pink, and had spent the next few hours trying to do it again, succeeding in changing its ears, tail and legs to bright green. Unfortunately, her neighbours had been less than impressed when they got home to find their dog brightly coloured.

Gabrielle had grown up right in the midst of her parents campaign to get Shane Amorcya into the Minister of Magic’s position. She knew instantly that their family was much better off than most other families. She saw the way her mother treated people who weren’t in her social circle, and so she grew up to believe that people who weren’t of their wealth and status were not worth her time. When Gabrielle turned 11 and started her first year at Chapman Academy, she entered the school with this attitude. Her haughty attitude and snobby personality did not make her any friends. She went into classes demanding only to be positioned by people who were of her wealth and status. She spent many meal times telling the Headmaster that she refused to be seated at a table with ‘commoners’. She did not try in her classes, claiming that ‘she didn’t need an education; she was the Minister of Magic’s daughter’. Her parents were contacted on numerous occasions, but they never seemed to do anything to change Gabrielle’s attitude. It got to a point where nobody wanted anything to do with Gabrielle, so her only friend was Michelle.

It was Michelle, in the end, who managed to get Gabrielle to change her opinions. Over the summer before their second year, Gabrielle seemed to go through a dramatic personality change. Although she came back to Chapman Academy in her second year still using her father’s Minister of Magic status to her advantage, Gabrielle had stopped demanding to be seated away from the ‘less fortunate’. She actually started making friends, and people seemed to respond well to her nicer personality. As Gabrielle got older, she became more mature, and gained more friends. She dropped her ‘I don’t need to go to class’ attitude and started attending, surprising herself when she actually got good grades. They weren’t straight O’s, but she was at least in the Exceeds Expectations range.

And then it happened. In her fourth year, Michelle started dating her first boyfriend. Her ‘first love’, she called him. Gabrielle absolutely loathed him. Who was he, this sixth year boy, to come and take her sister away from her? He and his stupid group of friends were suddenly all Michelle could talk about, and Gabrielle found her sister and her best friend slipping away from her. The relationship lasted through to their fifth year. At the beginning of her fifth year, one of Michelle’s boyfriend’s friends started to take an interest in Gabrielle. Gabrielle knew who he was, of course. It was Kyle Chapman, the son of her father’s best friend, the Headmaster of the school. Gabrielle and Michelle had grown up with Kyle and his twin sister, Ruby. Ruby and Gabrielle had never gotten along. Ruby had always seemed to prefer Michelle, while Kyle and Gabrielle had spent many hours pulling pranks on their sisters. Gabrielle hadn’t given much thought to the boy when she’d started school. She’d spoken to him, of course, but she’d never seen him as any more than this kid she grew up with.

The two started spending more time together, and eventually they started dating, much to the delight of both their mothers. Their relationship lasted all through Gabrielle’s fifth year. However at the end of her fifth year, their relationship hit a snag. Michelle’s boyfriend graduated, and broke up with her. Michelle had been heartbroken. In Michelle’s defence, Gabrielle told Kyle they could no longer see each other. When she told Michelle, however, Michelle had told Gabrielle to keep seeing Kyle, as she knew how happy he made her, not that Gabrielle would ever admit it. So Kyle and Gabrielle remained together.

Gabrielle is now ready to start her sixth year. She has noticed a change in Michelle since her ex-boyfriend left, but Michelle swears that she is fine. Gabrielle is ready to make new friends, have some fun, and spend some time with her boyfriend, who is now in his seventh and final year. Gabrielle has no idea what this year will bring, but she is ready for anything.
