Chapman Academy is set just off the coast of Western Australia, which means we will be using Australia's seasons, school terms and holidays.

Australia's seasons are as follows:

  • December, January, February = Summer
  • March, April, May = Autumn
  • June, July, August = Winter
  • September, October, November = Spring


Australia's school terms are as follows:

  • January 27th - April 9th = Term 1
  • April 21st - June 26th = Term 2
  • July 14th - September 18th = Term 3
  • October 5th - December 11th = Term 4


Australia's holidays are as follows:

  • December 12th - January 26th = Summer Holidays
  • April 10th - April 20th = Easter Holidays
  • June 27th - July 13th = Winter Holidays
  • September 19th - October 4th = Spring Break


Australia's public holidays are as follows:

  • December 25th = Christmas Day
  • December 26th = Boxing Day
  • January 1st = New Years Day
  • January 26th = Australia Day
  • April 10th = Good Friday
  • April 11th, 12th, 13th = Easter Saturday, Sunday, Monday
  • April 25th = Anzac Day
  • May 4th = Labour Day
  • June 8th = Queen's Birthday
